Online Portfolio - The Best of my Best

Below are some of the pictures that I had captured and edited for the four different assignments - Abstraction, Aperture, Shutter Speed, and Portraiture.
We were required to submit four to six photographs for each assignment and then pick ten pictures to include in this portfolio from any of the ten pictures.
These are the ten pictures of my approximately twenty pictures that have been deemed as some of my best.

July 21st - Day 1
BU College of Communications
Ms. L introduces the digital photography class by having students sort through magazines to decide what are good and bad photos.


July 22nd - Day 2
Faneui Hall
Wacky Chad, a street performer, performs a backflip off of his pogo stick.


July 23rd - Day 3
Coolidge Corner
Coolidge Corner is an area known for its many small shops... most of which were closed at the time of my visit.


July 24th - Day 4
Newbury Street
Several dolls of the famous Totoro stand in line in an anime shop.


July 25th - Day 5
Haymarket
Various fruits and vegetables on sale at Haymarket, where our second "field trip" for photo shoots took place.

Hampton Beach
Two seagulls argue over who gets to eat stolen sandwiches.

Fenway Park
A shot of the famous Boston Red Sox ball park on a quiet, rainy day.

BU Beach
One of several pictures taken in preparation for the portraiture assignment. It took me and Karen (subject) quite a bit of effort to get her up the tree!


July 29th - Day 9
Warren Towers
Light painting with my roommate and some friends for my night shooting portion of the shutter speed assignment.

A hypnotist tricks his volunteers to get angry over "thank you", insult him for saying "okay" and (depicted) praise him for saying "really?"
